MEMO is 'Monday Evening Meeting and Outreach'. It is for us CU people to learn more about what the Lord has done for us, BUT, not only this! It is also a time for CU members to spend time together in small groups studying the Bible, and to reach students with the Gospel through the medium of Bible study. Meetings typically include a meal, Bible study, and time of prayer.

Tuesday
Globe Cafe Globe Cafe
Meet @ the Castle Rooms - 7:30pm
Globe Café is an event run specifically for international students. So... come along and have some fun and food and fellowship.

Wednesday
Prayer Meeting
Meet @ the Chapel - 2:30pm
Prayer is fundamental to the work of the CU, as well as to the spiritual life of every Christian.
It is essential that we invite God to lead and bless all of our activities, or we will essentially be seeking to reach the university in our own strength.

As well as encouraging members to meet in small groups for prayer, the CU meets corporately to pray once a week.

"Pray continually." 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Tea and Toast
Meet @ the Chapel - 11:30pm
Tea and Toast is an opportunity for the CU to demonstrate practically God's love to the students of our university. As people leave the Students' Union after a night out, they are welcome to come into the chapel to receive a steaming hot cup of tea and a delicious slice of buttered toast - all provided free of charge by the CU. As well as this, many people stay to chat, and meaningful conversations are had most weeks.

Friday
CU Main Meeting
Meet @ St Pauls - 7:30pm
The whole CU comes together for the Friday evening Main Meeting. There are different kinds of main meeting - evenings being variously focused on Biblical Teaching, Evangelism Training, Prayer and Praise, and Outreach. All meetings are intended to meet the CU's goals of reaching students at Aberystwyth university with the Gospel, and ensuring that every CU member is confident and capable in sharing the Gospel.
